Started looking at putting Solar Electric on the house during October and November 2010.
Did a lot of research but did not proceed as the companies I contacted were not forthcoming and did not want to visit – to small an installation for many of them.
Going forward
Our friends have had Solar electric panels fitted and was very successful. Took their recommendation and contacted Solar Plus.Installed at end of February 2011. Very good service from both the Salesman, Surveyor and Installers. Was not the cheapest on the market but I am very satisfied with the end result. All the products sourced from Europe, the solar panels from Austria and the Inverters from Holland.
After the first quarter generated ( end of Feb to end of May)
395 kilowatts. Not bad.
First 6 months
Generated 810 kilowatts.
The first 12 Months
Generated 1100 Kilowatts.
Good return about 7%
